Profile

Born and raised in New York City, I now live in the Champlain Valley of northern New York State, a largely agricultural area. I have taught History of Art, worked in Natural History publishing, written a catalogue on the watercolors of John James Audubon, and been Executive Director of a local Humane Society. I have traveled throughout much of the United States on bird watching trips, and have been fortunate to be able to visit much of Western Europe, as well as Russia. I'm now retired. My politics are progressive/liberal, and I'm
a vegetarian. The traits I care about most are generosity, loyalty, and open-mindedness.
